The goal is to have youth become excited about music in the church, and more importantly, to teach them that music can be used to minister to others. The Student Choir leads in both worship services once a month. They will offer a Dinner Theater in December and go on a Mission Tour to Myrtle Beach this summer. Watch for details and updates concerning NTBC Student Choir. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 PM for grades 6 - 12.

The choice is up to you -- we have two worship services at North Trenholm on Sunday mornings. The 8:40 AM Worship is traditional and the choir leads the congregation with hymns and anthems. The 11:05 AM Worship uses a contemporary approach with choruses, scripture songs & hymns. The choir provides seasonal concerts and presentations. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM for Contemporary Choir and 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM for Traditional Choir. If you enjoy singing, we have a place for you. Come worship with us.
“Circle of Praise” -- Seniors
The “Circle of Praise” choir, for seniors, is a great time of fellowship and singing. The choir sings in worship services during the year and also sings in retirement villages throughout the city. In addition, they are involved in associational choir activities throughout the year. You won't find a more fun group or better fellowship than our “Circle of Praise.” Rehearsals are Mondays at 9 AM.
NTBC Praise Band
The heart of Contemporary Worship at North Trenholm is to uplift and exalt the name of Jesus. The focus of this musical style shifts from singing about Jesus to singing to Jesus. This music is one way to enter into the presence of God; it is designed to engage active worshippers. Genuine praise and worship flows from a thankful forgiven heart. As fellow believers, the Praise Band simply desires to enter into the throne room of Jesus Christ. The goal of every worship experience is to remember the love of Calvary knowing, "that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." With that goal in mind, it is the heartfelt desire of the Praise Band, that as you experience worship you no longer see musicians on a stage, but you see Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! The Praise Band is made up of auditioned musicians that lead us as they worship! If you have talents that you would like to dedicate to the Lord in worship, contact the Church Office.
